A wave of sorrow has swept across Nigeria following the heartbreaking death of popular TV host Somtochukwu Christelle Maduagwu, affectionately known as Sommie. The 29-year-old media personality reportedly lost her life on Monday after jumping from the third floor of her apartment complex in a desperate attempt to escape a burglary attack.

According to police reports, the tragic incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when armed robbers invaded her residence. In a frantic effort to flee the assailants, Somtochukwu leapt from her apartment window, sustaining fatal injuries from the fall.
Emergency responders found her unconscious at the scene and immediately rushed her to the hospital, where she sadly succumbed to her injuries despite medical efforts to save her.
