A tragic and disturbing incident has sparked widespread shock after a Black American woman identified as Roshown was arrested for allegedly killing her own daughter before calling the police on herself.
According to preliminary police reports, Roshown contacted emergency services shortly after the incident, calmly requesting officers to come and arrest her. When authorities arrived at the scene, they discovered her daughter deceased. The child’s identity and age have not been publicly disclosed as investigations continue.
During initial questioning, Roshown reportedly told investigators that she had been “hearing voices in the spirit”, which she claimed directed her actions. Law enforcement officials say these statements are now a key part of the ongoing investigation, particularly as authorities assess her mental state at the time of the incident.
