Award-winning Ghanaian journalist and broadcaster, Nana Aba Anamoah, has set social media buzzing after declaring Ghana’s own Sarkodie as the second-best rapper in the world, right after American rap icon Eminem.

In a viral post, Nana Aba confidently ranked Sarkodie above several global rap heavyweights, describing him as a lyrical genius who has consistently represented Ghana and Africa on the global music stage. According to her, Sarkodie’s delivery, wordplay, and consistency place him miles ahead of many internationally recognized rappers.
Her endorsement sparked massive reactions online, with fans and celebrities across Ghana applauding her bold statement. While many agreed with her, others debated her ranking, making it one of the most talked-about entertainment topics of the week.
“Sarkodie is not just Ghana’s best — he’s world-class,” Nana Aba wrote. “His rap precision and creativity can only be compared to Eminem.”
Sarkodie, who is known for his global hits like Adonai, Original, and Non-Living Thing, continues to raise the Ghanaian flag high, earning respect across the continent and beyond.
Nana Aba’s comment has reignited the global conversation about African rap supremacy, placing Sarkodie once again in the spotlight as one of the greatest of all time.
