Former Ghanaian international, Laryea Kingston, has officially been appointed as the new head coach of all Uganda men’s youth national teams.

The Uganda Football Federation (FUFA) confirmed the appointment, describing Kingston as a passionate, tactically gifted coach with a strong record in youth development. His new role will see him oversee the U15, U17, U20, and U23 sides, helping to shape the next generation of Ugandan football talent.
Kingston, who recently led Ghana’s U17 side before stepping down, expressed excitement about the new challenge and his desire to make a lasting impact in Ugandan football.
Sports fans across Africa have praised the move, calling it a bold and strategic step by FUFA to strengthen youth football structures in the country.
