Ghanaian goalkeeper Richard Ofori has declared his strong desire to return to the national team and represent the Black Stars at the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The experienced shot-stopper, who has been a key figure for the national team in past tournaments, shared that he is currently working tirelessly both on and off the pitch to be in top form ahead of the global showpiece.
“I’m working hard to be there,” Ofori confidently stated. “It’s every player’s dream to play at the World Cup. Ghana has an amazing squad right now, and even if I’m not on the field, I’ll keep supporting the team with all my heart.”
Ofori also praised the current squad’s spirit and determination, expressing full belief that the Black Stars can surprise the world in 2026.
