Popular Ghanaian event organizer Nii Noi has expressed concern over the lack of support for paid gospel concerts compared to secular shows. According to him, many fans are quick to complain about ticket prices for gospel events but will gladly spend huge amounts of money on concerts featuring secular artistes.

Speaking in an interview, Nii Noi stated that gospel musicians often struggle to break even when organizing shows, despite the fact that their music uplifts and inspires. “It’s worrying that when a gospel artiste puts up a ticketed event, people say it’s too expensive, but the same people don’t hesitate to pay for secular concerts,” he lamented.

He further urged gospel fans to support their favorite musicians by purchasing tickets and attending shows, emphasizing that without financial backing, many gospel artistes will find it difficult to sustain their craft.

Nii Noi believes that gospel music deserves equal recognition and investment since it plays a vital role in shaping society positively. He called on churches, corporate organizations, and fans to rally behind gospel musicians, not just spiritually but also financially, to ensure the growth of the industry.
