Tension is brewing within the family of the late Flight Sergeant Samuel Aboagye, one of the victims of the August 6 military helicopter crash, as his widow reportedly refuses to allow a DNA test on their child.

According to close sources, the DNA test was requested by investigators as part of the official probe into the crash victims and their dependents. However, the woman allegedly blocked the process, insisting it was unnecessary.
What has sparked public curiosity is a circulating claim that she was allegedly involved in an affair with an unnamed Member of Parliament from the Ashanti Region — a relationship said to have begun before her husband’s tragic passing.
The Aboagye family has since taken legal action, accusing the widow of obstructing justice and tampering with the investigation. On her part, she has reportedly filed a counter-motion, seeking a court injunction to prevent any DNA testing from being carried out.
The controversy has drawn wide attention on social media, with many calling for transparency and others demanding privacy for the grieving family as investigations continue.
